In a surprising partnership that breaks conventional predictions, Ubisoft has unveiled an digital crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The unexpected Thanksgiving event runs from November 25 through December 22, including free extra story content for Shadows players.

Mysterious Adventure Revealed

According to the official release, "A mysterious confrontation leads characters Naoe and Yasuke into a original mission, where rumors of forbidden practices and fearsome changes resonate through the darkness." The narrative introduces a "oddly dressed woman named Ada" who tasks the pair with venturing into the Crystal Cave—a key location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her friend from a hidden cult.

The questline centers on "strange experiments and a terrifying foe" and is open to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.

Recognizable Places and Changes

The preview features the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was previously where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through generations. The teaser finishes with a powerful sequence showing a character, probably the hostage, transforming into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.
